Realty Times Names Miller As New Publisher

Realty Times, the Internet"s leading real estate news service, has named Peter G. Miller as its new publisher. Established in 1996, Realty Times -- and its associated site, AgentNews -- is now featured on Realtor.com and such portals as Yahoo!, Excite, About.Com, Goto.Com, Go.Com, and Lycos. The Realty Times free newsletter has attracted almost 30,000 subscribers, while its e-mail based, opt-in, daily news update is distributed to thousands of consumers and real estate professionals daily. "Realty Times has enjoyed enormous growth in the past four years, and Peter is uniquely qualified to work with our expanding base of readers, writers, and advertisers," said Jody Lane, who is leaving his position as publisher of Realty Times to expand HomeRun Technologies, a firm which produces specialized newsletters for professionals in various fields. Realty Times is a division of HomeRun Technologies. Miller was the original creator and host of AOL"s Real Estate Center. He has written for leading online sites, national magazines, and is the author of several highly-regarded real estate books, including the Common-Sense Mortgage. He has also managed the job bank for the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE) for many years on a pro bono basis. "With Peter as the publisher of Realty Times and Blanche Evans as the publisher of AgentNews, we now have experienced and respected leadership in place to continue our growth and expansion," said Lane. Evans, according to the December issue of Realtor magazine, is one of the 25 most influential people in real estate. "We"re credible, we"re profitable, and we have attracted both exceptional writers and a loyal readership base," said Lane. "I look forward to the future and the new opportunities we"re seeing."

Don"t loan companies have to follow certain laws?
